Web Services for Professional Artists
This site is devoted to supporting fine artists in their quest to establish an internet presence that stands-out from the herd, yet showcases their art in a positive and productive manner.
We will be sharing our thoughts about the importance of web design, and how a "good" web design is more than how the page looks; the over-all design must serve our artist client's needs.
We will also discuss how excellent design is only part of the story; and explain that you, the client, must contribute surperb content, and a well-crafted
"Business Value Proposition"
if you want your web site to be successful.
Art Marketing and Web Design
Our purpose is to help you effectively showcase your artwork via an internet-based marketing program. Our recommended program is based upon a "clean, straight-forward" web site design detailing your message, and effective use of electronic media such as email or RSS to actively communicate the message.
Your internet-based marketing program includes, a PLAN outlining your goals and objectives in terms of your internet-based marketing presence, a Framework - the web DESIGN which will deliver your message, and CONTENT - the words and images that tell your story and attract the clients you want.
A Few Words About Your Web Site Content
You must have, or develop if you don't already have, a
"Business Value Proposition". Without an effective Business Value Proposition, you will not stand-out from the herd of similar offerings.
Your value proposition is a short and to-the-point statement setting your business apart from all competitors. A value proposition has to be what you DO and ARE. It can't be just what you SAY or WANT.
NOTE: this is not an easy task... we are still working on our value proposition!
"compelling internet marketing... delivering results"
Keys to Success for Your Web Site
The PLAN sets-forth your GOALS and OBJECTIVES.
The DESIGN is about how it LOOKS and WORKS.
The CONTENT is about the MESSAGE that YOU want to deliver.
